Launch Announcement: Centre for Yoga Studies

This is the first "official launch accouncement" on oDharma - all of the other websites in the oDharma porfolio were already in existence before oDharma itself came to be. I could not wish for a more purpose-filled project to announce ... my teacher's website: The Centre for Yoga Studies.

WordPress and the General Public License

A heated argument in the WordPress community reached my attention yesterday. Since most of the people I engage regarding WordPress have very little knowledge of the GPL, I thought it would be a great opportunity to explain it within the context of the ongoing argument.

A couple of weeks ago I launched a redesign of my personal website iamronen.com. The change was brewing inside me for a couple of months as I was trying to balance out numerous challenges: the busy-ness of the top area, upstaging yoga, including my photography website ... I was looking for more space, more minimalism ... and taking advantage of new features in WordPress 3.0

Upgrading WordPress

It is highly recommended to keep your WordPress installation up-to-date. It insures your website is safe, reliable, fast and pleasant to use ... but there's more to upgrading then meets the eye. Upgrading involves WordPress itself, plugins and sometimes even the active theme.
